Hell yes, I’m thankful!

A little late with the Thanksgiving post but here goes:

I’m thankful to be retired . . . again.

I’m thankful for the support, amazing programs, and camaraderie with a great group of fellow authors at Grand Canyon Sisters in Crime chapter.

I’m thankful I was able to spend a week with family at a VRBO house in Phoenix that absolutely rocked! Had so much fun target shooting, shopping, eating, drinking, playing games, eating, picking fresh fruit from the homeowner’s trees (with their approval), swimming and lounging in the hot tub, eating, hiking, playing foosball, shuffleboard, billiards, and did I mention eating?

I’m thankful for the extra five pounds I gained. NOT! Well, maybe . . . because it was very good food.

I’m thankful for my husband, two rescue dogs, and living in southern Arizona where the sun shines almost every day, the trails beckon, and most people are pretty darn nice. Yeah, it gets hot in the summer. So I’m also thankful I can occasionally escape to cooler climes during the brutal season.

I’m thankful for our solar panels that keep the electric bill around $25 every month, all year.

I’m thankful for dark skies, diamond bright stars, and good wine.

What are YOU thankful for?
