As Daisy O’Connor in my Dead Men series would say, “Butter my butt and call me a biscuit!” I’ve been working hard on rebranding, updating, and learning new skills. I shelled out some serious cash for SPF University’s Ads for Authors because the package includes so much more than advertising tutorials. I’m currently immersed in TikTok for Authors which is making my head spin but in a good way.
One of the things course instructors, Lila Dubois and Jayne Rylon suggested was consolidating all social media links into one access point. I’d heard of this but had no idea how to do it. They suggested Linktree, Beacons, or building the module ourselves. I do not have time to build anything right now so I went with the free version of Beacons.ai.
LOVE IT!
Not only are my social media links in one place but I also have a field for newsletter sign-ups and links to my Dead Men series books. This makes things so easy for readers to follow me, access my books, etc. It’s no secret people do not want to jump through hoops to find you so for all those instant gratification, impatient people . . . this is for YOU! (And me. I’m one of those people, too.)
If you are a fellow author and haven’t used a service like Linktree or Beacons, check out my link tree. I’ve replaced my website link with the Beacons link on all sites and I know my readers are going to love this as much as me.
